Progressive coalition puts their support behind the Senator's re-election bid
BOSTON - Mass Alliance, one of the state's leading progressive coalitions, has announced that it has endorsed Senator Sal DiDomenico in his re-election campaign for the State Senate. The Democratic primary will be held on Tuesday, September 14th.
"Sen. DiDomenico has already stood up for progressive values in the Senate. That is important to us. We look forward to continuing to work with him to fight for working families, protect the environment, promote social and economic justice, and stand up for the equal rights of everyone in our Commonwealth," said Mass Alliance Director Georgia Hollister Isman.
"I am honored to have earned the endorsement of Mass Alliance," said Senator DiDomenico, who represents the Middlesex, Suffolk and Essex district. "And I look forward to continuing to work with their member organizations to advance progressive causes that make real and measurable improvements in the lives of our state's residents. The broad range of advocacy groups that are part of Mass Alliance shows that the work we have begun in the State Senate, which is all about getting results, is resonating throughout the district."
Mass Alliance is a coalition for political and advocacy organizations that work together to build a progressive Massachusetts. Member organizations have a diverse range of priorities, including civic participation, civil rights, economic justice, education, environmental protection, health care, women's rights, and the rights of working families.
